A BRIEF HISTORY

SaddleSprings was founded in 1996 when it conceived a clear shaped 200 ml pouch (the GoPouch^™) for single-serve water. Following a development process of almost two years, the company’s own brand, Spring Water was launched in 1998. Although it enjoyed great retail success, it became clear that strategic opportunities were greater in offering its innovative shaped pouch, along with its know-how and filling technology to its beverage customers.

TAKING IT UP ANOTHER NOTCH…

Cadbury Schweppes was the first customer to convert its beverage to the pouch format with the launch of Hawaiian Punch in a pouch in April 2001. In late 2002, after experiencing a significant increase in sales, Cadbury converted all Hawaiian Punch in juice boxes to the GoPouch^™.

During the same time period, SaddleSprings engineered the first independently owned high-speed pouch filling system in Chicago, Illinois.

Today, the company has a range of GoPouch^™ products and has assembled a team of global strategic partners in order to market, package and support its products.

SaddleSprings is headquartered in Los Angeles, California, with offices soon to be opened in Western Europe.
